in California's Modoc National Forest

Members from our Club attended the Gianni's Italy Fundraiser to benefit Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center's Fundraiser where their staff and board members served savory, fresh Italian cuisine. Oct 2018: Nearly 1,000 horses from the Devil's Garden wild horse herd in California's Modoc National Forest underwent a brutal and terrifying roundup by the U.S. Forest Service and the Federal Bureau of Land Management. The Horse Enthusiasts Club of Rossmoor donated $500 towards the rescue of 10 of these horses by Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue in Caliente, CA.

Oct 2018: Sandra Nordgren, Wendy Markel, Laurie Bellet-volunteer coordinator, Denise Malvini, Rae Miller, Sheila Torres, and Robbee Royce were given a tour of Angels for Minis Miniature Horse Rescue in Walnut Creek. and pose with some of the guest residents who are waiting adoption.
